South Carolina, the Palmetto State, offers many opportunities to experience the outdoors.  It has the mountains, the ocean, beautiful waterfalls, and beautiful historical cities.

We visited Charleston and Myrtle Beach area on one of our trips.  Both coastal towns with lots of activities. These are probably the most well known and popular destinations to visit.  There is so much more!

South Carolina has its share of Corps of Engineer campgrounds.  One we enjoyed is Springfield Corps of Engineer Campground in Anderson, SC.  Great water sites!
